Do you remember the time when Christmas was cozy and peaceful? Neither do I!

With the exception of the ironic (and frankly a bit provocative) name, Tranquility is a beautiful chameleon ink. The color is a medium dark reddish purple with silvery/green shimmer. A quite unusual combination! There is some shading and a dark halo that is easily visible in wet areas. The ink seems quite wet.

Tranquility doesn’t really resemble any other red-purple inks I have. It is lighter than both Diamine Pansy and Herbin’s Poussière de Lune, and more saturated than Rohrer & Klingner’s Alt-Bordeaux.
